The request of an Anon asked that I post more pictures of barns, stalls, etc. While I was searching to fufill this request I found there was limited postings. So, I’ve opened a secondary blog where I will post barns, farms, stalls, and such. I will continue to post the odd picture of farms and barns on this blog, but if you want a blog solely for that, go follow my new FARMBARNSTABLE blog. It just opened, so I’m working on the theme and stuff, so be patient.
I love barns, and I love looking at them. I’ll post pictures, recommend books, and I’m even taking a course currently in equine environment and stabling, so maybe I’ll share some of my learnings too!
@1 month ago with 1 noteThis is from the beautiful ranch that Portia de Rossi and Ellen Degeneres own in California. So inspirational- tons of beautiful early American and mid-century furniture and sculpture. <3
there’s mice in my house! how is a barn that is filled with mice not cause any damage to my stuff, yet it’s unsafe at home, where there isn’t supposed to be any!
that strap across the top is one of my martingales, and then the rest is bridles and stuff.
I’m terrified to check my saddle! I love that saddle so much, and there’s no way I could replace it if there’s any damage, it’s probably worth more than my car. I will personally hunt down any mouse that touches it.
